Fiberboard is made of very small pieces of wood or fibers which are glued with a special resin at very high pressure and temperature. It has higher density and durability than particle board (Novopan), as well as water resistance in general. Fiberboard is lined with melamine or veneer and is widely used to make furniture, doors, kitchen doors, shelves and various other wooden constructions.
