Description: Mahogany comes from several tropical countries of Africa and it is kiln dried (KD). Its color varies from creamy pink to deep reddish brown. It is flat grain and vertical grain, too. It is a medium hardwood with medium resistance to damage and insect attacks. It is used for the manufacture of furniture, wooden frames, indoor and outdoor floors, frames, stairs, ships, flexible structures, and for other uses.
