Description: Fir comes from many parts of Europe and it is kiln dried (KD). Its color is white to red-brown (in some cases) and it is flat grain and very rarely vertical grain. It is a type of wood that is relatively soft (quite workable) and sufficiently resistant to damage and water. It is used for the construction of roofs, furniture, frames, upholstery, interior floors and other wooden structures.
