Description: Meranti comes from Asia and it is kiln dried (KD). Its color is tropical and varies between light and darker shades of a reddish brown. It is flat grain and a relatively soft and elastic type with great durability. It is often used for the construction of frames due to its insulating ability, as well as for other uses.
