Botanical Name: Tectona Grandis
Description: Teak comes from the tropics of Asia and it is kiln dried (KD). Its color is a light, slightly yellowish, brown which darkens with time. It is flat grain and a hardwood with incredibly high resistance to shocks, water and in general to hardships. It is manly used on ship decks, in the construction of floors and outdoor surfaces that have access to water, as well as for other uses.
